You are being sent this email as you have selected Fly Tipping as one of the issues that concerns you most when you completed the Let's Talk survey recently.

The problem of Fly tipping features in the Top 5 issues in nearly every District within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary area.

I have made Hampshire County Council aware of the survey results and am in contact with the Waste Management Department and in particular those who lead on their Fly Tipping Strategy.  I have a meeting with them in the next couple of weeks to discuss your concerns and see how we can work collaboratively to tackle this issue.

In the meantime, I would encourage you to report issues of Fly Tipping to your local council and you can find the relevant number on this link - https://www.hants.gov.uk/wasteandrecycling/flytipping/report-fly-tipping.  This will help build a picture of where the issue occurs more frequently and more importantly remove the items that have been discarded in a timely manner.
