This edition focuses on the spring season, with police and partner efforts to tackle trends of livestock worrying this time of year under Operation Recall, and pleas to members of the public and dog walkers to be mindful of livestock, ground nesting birds and young deer who are vulnerable in spring. 

The proactive work of the five police forces in the South East region is highlighted in the magazine, following a week of intensified activity to target organised rural criminals in March, and we have updates around other local police investigations/proactive operations.

The magazine also includes input from the Buckler’s Hard Yacht Harbour team about the first grey seal pup born in Hampshire waters, and articles from Forestry England, the New Forest National Park Authority, and The British Deer Society.
