Witness appeal following serious assault in Farnborough


We are appealing for witnesses and information after two men were seriously assaulted in Farnborough.

Officers were called at 6.27pm on Friday 29 March to a report that two men had been stabbed while they were sat in a silver Ford S-Max car on Alison Close.

The men, aged 22 and 32, suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries to their legs. They were taken to hospital to receive treatment.

Since this was reported to us, officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries and have arrested four men and one woman.

A 26-year-old man from Farnborough has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

A 45-year-old woman from Camberley has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.

They remain in custody while our enquiries are ongoing.

A 21-year-old man from Chertsey has been arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been bailed until 3 July while enquiries continue.

A 19-year-old man from Farnborough was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been bailed until 1 July while enquiries continue.

A 20-year-old man from Farnborough was arrested on suspicion of conspiring to cause grievous bodily harm with intent. He has been bailed until 30 June while enquires continue.

Officers are still carrying out their investigation and would like to hear from potential witnesses who may have seen the incident.
