Anti-social behaviour dispersal order

Due to a sharp increase in the ASB in the town centre the district Inspector has authorised a S34 to be put in place.

There have been large groups of youths gathering in the town centre and causing issues at McDonalds.

This is an effective tool police use in order to tackle this type of incident and whilst we are on duty we will be able to enforce the order.

A Section 35 Dispersal Order has been authorised for 48 hours in Havant town centre. The map below outlines the dispersal area zone. This dispersal starts Tuesday 26 March at 2:35pm and ends Thursday 28 March at 2:35pm.

Officers have been dealing with numerous anti-social behaviour and criminal damage reports which have been affecting the local community and businesses. Anyone directed by officers to leave the area highlighted below can be arrested if they return.

Havant and Emsworth team take this type of incident very seriously and will use all available powers in law to tackle them.

Please advise all your sons and daughters that this is in place and not to get caught up in anything.

Kind regards
