A 21-year-old man from Totton has been jailed for 12 weeks for a series of shoplifting offences.

It follows shoplifting incidents at Morrisons Daily on Water Lane and Tesco Express on Nutshalling Close, Calmore, as well as further shopliftings and a making off without payment from Morrisons, Spruce Drive.

On one occasion, on Wednesday 4 October, Wright stole £125 worth of goods from Morrisons Daily. Prior to that, on Tuesday 4 July, he stole £74.20 worth of meat from the Spruce Drive Morrisons.

On Friday 13 October, he failed to pay for £87.23 worth of fuel from Morrisons, Spruce Drive.
