I would like to take the time to introduce myself as the new Dedicated Neighbourhood Officer (Your Local Bobby) for Basingstoke Town Centre. I am PC 28189 Charlotte Warhurst and I cover the Eastrop, Brookvale and Kings Furlong and Grove beats.

I have worked for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary for over 4 years. I started out as a PCSO in Tadley, before joining as a PC on the Response team, covering Hart and Rushmoor. For the last year, I have been working on the Neighbourhoods Policing Team in Basingstoke, covering the Town Centre areas.

I am excited to get to know residents, business owners and other stakeholders in the area over the coming weeks/months. If you see me out and about, feel free to stop for a chat. I will be holding regular beat surgeries at Festival Place, with the next surgery scheduled for 12pm on Wednesday 20th March. Future beat surgeries and community engagements will be advertised on Facebook and Hampshire Alerts.

This year, I have attended a number of community engagements, ranging from school and scout group meet and greets, residential beat surgeries and many more.
