Officers have this afternoon (Friday 3 May) arrested a 44-year-old man from Hythe on suspicion on seven shoplifting offences.

He was arrested in Pennington in connection with reported thefts from stores in Lymington and Pennington this month and last. The man remains in police custody at this time.
